Sell Fries calculator: roll odds, gem cost and upgrade timing
This page answers two questions. How many gems does a target class really cost, given that a roll is 25 gems and every class has a fixed chance? And at the cash you bank each night, which night can you finally afford the upgrade you are saving for? Both are plain arithmetic, both show the formula they used, and both run in your browser.

Class roll calculator
25 gems / rollPick the class you want and the gems you hold. The calculator shows the average cost of landing it once, and the chance your own balance gets at least one hit.
Fry Cook is Epic rarity. You cannot pick the result of a roll; this is only the target you are measuring against.
Quick fills
- Chance per roll
- 10.0%
- p = 10 รท 100 = 0.1
- Average rolls for one hit
- 10
- 1 รท 0.1 = 10, rounded to the nearest roll: 10
- Average gems for one hit
- 250
- round(1 รท 0.1) = 10 rolls ร 25 gems
- Rolls your gems buy
- 10
- 250 gems รท 25 gems per roll
- Chance of at least one Fry Cook in 10 rolls
- 65.1%
- 1 โ (1 โ 0.1)10 โ the chance of missing every roll is 34.9%.
Your 250 gems cover the average cost of Fry Cook (250 gems) with 0 to spare. An average is not a promise: in 10 rolls there is still a 34.9% chance of missing every time.
Formulas used
- p = odds รท 100 โ the chance a single roll is the target class.
- average rolls = 1 รท p โ shown rounded to the nearest roll: a whole roll, because a half roll is not a roll.
- average gems = round(1 รท p) ร 25 โ the same average priced at 25 gems per roll.
- P(at least one hit in n rolls) = 1 โ (1 โ p)n, where n = floor(gems รท 25).
Upgrade timing calculator
cash onlyTurn the cash you bank in a night into a night number for the upgrade you are saving for. Only upgrades with a published price are listed; per-level upgrades with no recorded price are left out rather than guessed.
Quick fills
Prices are the ones actually published for a single purchase, not a per-level ladder.
Bank $500 a night and you can buy Auto peeler at $500 before sunrise on night 1.
- Upgrade price
- $500
- Published single-purchase price.
- Nights needed
- 1
- ceil(500 รท 500) = 1
- Banked by that sunrise
- $500
- 1 nights ร $500
- Slack on night one
- $0
- One night of takings already covers the price.
Formula used
nights = ceil(price รท cash per night) โ the first night whose total takings cover the price. We do not estimate what the upgrade earns afterwards: no verified figure exists for the extra income each upgrade adds, so the tool stops at affordability.

Assumptions

Every roll is independent
Each paid roll costs the same number of gems and draws from the same seven-class table. A run of Dishwashers does not warm the table up, and a near miss does not count towards the next roll โ so the odds on this page are the odds on every single attempt.
The odds and the roll price are the agreed values
The planner only uses numbers that several independent references agree on: seven class percentages, and the price of one roll. Nothing is filled in from memory or from a single post, and there is no discount, no pity timer and no way to choose the result.
Upgrade timing only covers published prices
The second tool lists every upgrade whose price is actually published. Per-level upgrades whose price was never recorded stay out of the list entirely: they are not interpolated, averaged or guessed, because a wrong number would send you into the wrong night.
No estimate of what an upgrade earns back
No verified figure exists for the extra income each upgrade adds, so the tool stops at affordability. It tells you which night the price is covered and nothing more โ do not read the night number as a recommendation of what to buy first.
Cash is banked, nothing else is bought
The upgrade tool assumes every dollar of a night's takings is saved for the one upgrade you selected. Real runs also spend on shop items, repairs and the next tier of the same machine, so treat the night count as a floor, not a schedule.
Nothing is stored and nothing is tracked
Both calculators run in your browser from the numbers you type. The first turns gems into expected spins; the second turns nightly cash into upgrade timing. The inputs are not sent anywhere, not saved between visits and not tied to your Roblox account. Free and ad-granted rolls are ignored: only the gems you enter are counted.
Averages are not promises. At 0.2% the average is 500 rolls, but 500 rolls only carries a 63.2% chance of that class once โ 36.8% of runs that stop there never see it at all. Use the second figure, not the first, when you decide whether a target is worth chasing. If a number on this page disagrees with your own save, check the class or upgrade page first โ those tables are corrected before the calculators are.
